President: Serves as spokesperson for the organization. Calls meetingas required and sets agendas for meetings; Chairs meetings of executive committee, and the general membership; Appoints committees and fills vacancies in accordance with the Constitution; Communicates with network coordinators within and outside of the organization.
Vice President: Acts in the President's absence; Fields inquiries about new membership, and serves as lead officer for orientation of new members; Serves as the organization's coordinator and facilitator for Professional Development; assumes other duties as assigned by the President.
Treasurer: Invoices and collects membership fees; Manages membership process; Manages the finances of the organization and prepares the annual budget for approval at the ACAMIS spring meeting; Submits bi-annual budget reports.
Major Event Coordiantor: Coordinates the Annual Meeting and other events that would involve ACAMIS staff and administrators.
Strategic Planning Coordinator: Serves as chair of the organization's Strategic Planning Committee; Oversees and coordinates the writing/revisions of and presents to Board of Directors and to the general membership recommen-dations regarding the strategic plan.
Executive Officer: Creates and distributes association related correspondence on behalf of the ACAMIS Board; Coordinates meeting arrangements for ACAMIS Board meetings and the Annual General Membership meetings; Monitors the ACAMIS website, and coordinates updates to the website periodically and conducts research on behalf of the association for ACAMIS related initiatives. |
