ACAMIS Drama Festival
Suzhou Singapore International School will be hosting the ACAMIS Drama Festival on May 29-30,2009 (Friday-Saturday). We would like to cordially invite your school to participate in this event. This festival is for Middle and High School students.
A main portion of the Drama Festival consists of workshops of various topics relating to Drama such as props, production, directing, acting, make-up, stage design, technical theatre, etc.
Also, there is a need for more workshop leaders and we hope that you might be available to offer a workshop during the festival.
Our preliminary schedule of the festival:
May 29, 2009 (Friday)
8:30am-Welcome and Introduction
9:00-10:00am- First Session
10:30am-12:15 noon- Second Session
1:45pm-3:30pm- Third Session
6:00- Watch a Musical Performance at the Suzhou Cultural Theatre
May 30,2009 (Saturday)
9:00-10:00am- Third Session Session
10:30am-12:15 noon- Fourth Session
1:30pm-3:30pm- Fifth Session
There will be sharing of their experiences and achievements on the evening of May 30, 2009 (Saturday) from 5:00-6:30pm. This can be in a form of drama performances, speeches, group presentations, exhibitions, etc.
Registration is now open for the ACAMIS Drama Festival hosted by Suzhou Singapore International School. This event is on 29-30 MAY 2009 (Friday-Saturday). This festival is for Middle and High School students.
There is a limit of 10 participants per school. Each student should choose only one workshop.
There is a registration fee of 700 RMB. Participants will receive an ACAMIS Festival t-shirt, lunch, snacks and dinner and a ticket to watch either a Magic Show or IMAX film at the Suzhou Cultural Centre on the evening of May 29, 2009 (Friday).
Deadline for submitting the registration form is on the 10th of May 2009. This is a first come first served basis, so please register as early as possible.
