High School Principal's Job Alike
Last year's High School Principal Job-a-like session, hosted by Nanjing International School was a great success and this year the group came together again to share ideas, issues and strategies amongst High School Principals of Chinese International Schools.
THANKS to Jim Scorgie for coordinating the event and hosting it at his school, Western Academy of Beijing. Fourteen ACAMIS Schools were in attendance for the two day event, January 24-25, 2007.
This year, schools shared thoughts on a wide variety of Technology issues including:
-Previewing the Power School Administrative Program
-Discussing strategies for the integration of Technology Across the Curriculum
-Strategies for implementing 1 - 1 computer programs
-Moodle or other similar software packages
Other topics include:
Sharing of school reports and discussion of criterion based vs. standard based v. traditional reporting methods
-School timetables
-Korean Liason- how to best serve this community
The group suggested meeting in the fall near school year!
