CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOP REGISTRATION FEE CANCELLATION POLICY

If notification of cancellation from a registered participant is received:

  • 30 days or more prior to a conference or workshop - 80% of registration fee is refunded
  • Between 15-29 days prior to a conference or workshop - 40% of registration fee is refunded
  • Less than 15 days prior to a conference or workshop - no refund

CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOP CANCELLATION

In the unlikely event of cancellation of the conferences and workshops due to circumstances beyond our control, we will give full refund of the registration fees. However, we will unable to refund any travel, visa or accommodation expenses incurred from registering the conferences and/or workshops.

Workshops for Support Staff

ACAMIS is working with PD Academia to offer our members value added training services. Topics and facilitators are vetted by ACAMIS, which have received over-whelming positive feedback.

ACAMIS promotes the workshops as open registration events, hosted in cities across China, to ensure schools can cost effectively send staff to workshops.

Workshop topics are chosen by ACAMIS based on feedback from member schools. Each workshop is customized with content and case studies relevant to International Schools.

Dependent on the topic and facilitator(s), workshops are limited to 30 or 50 participants and are either one day or two days. The cost per participant ranges between $300 to $500 USD. Due to increasing demand, we are offering more workshops. We are asking ACAMIS member schools to consider hosting a workshop. We are also seeking advice on workshop topics you feel are relevant to the professional development needs of your school.The benefits of hosting a workshop are:

1.Choosing topics specific to your PD requirements;
2.Selecting dates convenient for your school;
3.Showcase your school’s commitment to Professional Development; and
4.Reduced tuition for your participants.

This reduction in tuition goes toward covering the costs listed below:

•Rooms, audio visual and room set up
•Lunches and tea breaks;
•Printing of participant materials; and
•Transportation to and from the host schools preferred local hotel for out of town participants (if required).
