Instructional coaching supports educators in their continuous growth to maximize student success. The complexity of teaching is continually expanding and all educators deserve a coach. Administrators, supervisors, and middle level leaders have instructional coaching as one of their responsibilities, while instructional coaches can have coaching as their key responsibility . Whatever your role, Personalized Coaching will assist you in developing your coaching knowledge and skills to maximize the presence of a coaching culture within your school.
Target Audience: This Online PD Program has been designed for instructional coaches and for all leaders across a school, Primary and Secondary, that are responsible for providing and/or supporting instructional coaching. This includes, but is not limited to Principals, Deputies, Heads of Faculty, Heads of Department, Grade Level Leaders, Coordinators, and Instructional Coaches. The offering is also appropriate for experienced teachers looking to prepare for a future role in instructional coaching.
Program Components:
- Approximately 10 hours of study in the facilitated online module.
- Approximately 10 hours of study and application on your specific focus areas for development (job-embedded).
- Approximately 10 hours in communications with Steve and cohort members.
- This is a certificate program; participants will be recognized for 30-hours of professional learning.
