The Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Exceptional Learners (TCLDEL) program at George Mason University prepares educators to work within diverse K-12 classrooms and schools around the world. Our graduate programs are designed with the working teacher in mind. Earn a graduate certificate or Master’s in Education in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages or Advanced International Baccalaureate Studies. Or, earn a certificate or Master's in International Elementary Education.
Apply new knowledge and advanced teaching skills to your classroom during the school year while completing engaging coursework online and connecting to educators from around the world. Teachers can enhance their careers even further with the option to earn a Virginia state teaching license in either English for Speakers of Other Languages (PK-12) or Elementary Education (PK-6).
