WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP PANEL SESSION

This panel will consist of outstanding women leaders from across the ACAMIS region. The topic will be exploring the different paths to success each has taken. The phenomenon of “imposter syndrome” which are chronic feelings of inadequacy and self doubt that persists despite evident success will be explored. This sense of intellectual fraudulence overrides any feelings of success or external proof of competence. While imposter syndrome affects men, it is women in leadership who are most often impacted.

At least five presenters will join this panel discussion - presenters details will be available soon.

CAROLINE TAYLOR

Board Member, Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS)

Caroline Taylor has been an educator for over 30 years. She began her career in the UK and has taught in both UK state and private schools. Caroline has been in international education for 21 years and she has taught in schools in Thailand and China. She has been working with Dulwich International for the past 11 years having started her career at the Beijing campus as Deputy Head Academic. Caroline believes positive relationships have the ability and the power to release students’ and staff full potential. She has seen that the relationship between a student and their teacher plays an important role in the trajectory of their academic success and social development. Caroline believes that establishing a positive relationship with their teacher helps a child feel more comfortable and safe in their classroom environment. She is currently Head of College at Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong.
