Child Protection: What Aspiring Leaders and Schools starting out need to know
Among the most important values added to a school are child protection policies and training. This workshop is designed for those Aspiring and Middle Level Leaders who are moving into a role where they need to know more about Child Protection. It will also be helpful for schools who are starting their child protection journey or those who have things in place but want to check if there is more to be done (there usually is). We will present and discuss child protection procedures that have been guided by CIS accreditation standards.
We will share our experience of setting up child protection policy and procedures in our school which includes documentation, training staff and parents, staff recruitment, promotions, curriculum for students of all ages and reporting procedures. We will share resources and answer questions that schools may have.
