Scott Campbell
Shanghai Singapore International School
From industry to education. Returning to Canada after studying in Japan, Scott started his own company at the young age of 16. The company quickly grew and took on a number of large clients such as Judy Inc, Eikon Device, the National Ballet School of Canada, and many more. Overtime the company evolved from general consulting to R&D, and in 2012 Scott published the worlds first patent for 3D Micro-lens imaging technology. Since then Scott has been working as an educator in China developing customized STEM curricula for schools all over the country.
Establishing A Practical Electrical Engineering Program - Without Breaking the Bank!
Electrical engineering is at the heart of technological innovation, as such its importance to the future of STEM/STEAM education cannot be understated.
In this session participants will learn how to set up a versatile electronics lab without spending a fortune. Both theoretical and practical aspects will be covered. Logistics, sourcing, and project design will be covered first. Then participants a variety of practical experiments where participants design and build their own circuits will be modelled.
Finally, and this is the best part! All participants will be given access to a vast resource library to help them grow their own electronics program.
