The International School of Tianjin (IST) invites ACAMIS member schools to participate in the 2026 ACAMIS Mathematics Olympiad.
This one-day competition features individual and team-based rounds designed to challenge problem-solving, reasoning, and teamwork.

Registration Fee: RMB 200 per student. This fee covers event administration, printing and materials, lunch and snacks, and awards. Schools will be invoiced according to their registration documentation.
Competition Structure
The tournament consists of 4 rounds:
- Individual Round: A timed multiple-choice test completed independently.
- Team Round: A set of problems completed collaboratively by the team.
- Ciphering Round: Teams of four are split into two pairs. Teams work on one timed problem at a time, earning more points for faster completion.
- Relay Round: Teams of four work in a fixed order. Each student’s answer determines the next student’s problem. Example relay problems will be provided to schools in advance.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three individual scorers from the Individual Round. Awards will be presented to the top three teams based on the cumulative score totaled from the Individual, Team, Ciphering, and Relay rounds.

Problems may include content from the following areas:
- Algebra and Number
- Functions
- Geometry
- Trigonometry
- Counting Problems
- Probability and Statistics
