Thank You to Beijing World Youth Academy

A huge thank you to Beijing World Youth Academy for hosting this year’s FIRST Lego League competition. The school provided an exceptional setting for the event, with fantastic facilities that included a dynamic live stream, an informative display system, and robust IT infrastructure that kept everything running smoothly.

We were particularly inspired by the thought-provoking opening speech by Lindsey Devillier (Director of Innovation and Educational Technology), which encouraged us all to reflect on how robotics are used today and how our students will shape their use in the future.

These contributions helped create a competition filled with energy, creativity, and a strong display of STEM skills. This year’s “UNEARTHED” theme challenged students to connect past human ingenuity with future technologies, and it was a pleasure to watch them rise to the occasion as historians, engineers, and problem-solvers. The event was a true reflection of the high standards and collaborative spirit that define the FIRST Lego League.
