Troy Harkin

Troy Harkin is a STEM Specialist who has been teaching internationally for almost 20 years. Currently, he is a Secondary Design Tech Teacher at Shanghai American School - Pudong Campus and serves as the Head Coach of their VEX V5 Robotics Program. He is passionate about helping students turn ideas into reality through technology and hands-on learning. His teaching interests include digital fabrication, computer science, robotics and automation, physical computing, and manufacturing. Troy enjoys creating engaging, student-centered experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving, innovation, and confidence in the design and engineering process.
