Modeling What Matters Workshop

Modeling What Matters: A Two-Day Wellbeing Experience for School Leaders

International School Of Nanshan Shenzhen

Saturday & Sunday, November 1 and 2, 2025

Prioritizing well-being is essential for school leaders, but modeling it authentically is hard when you're caught in common but unsustainable habits. Modeling What Matters is a two-day wellbeing experience designed to help you pause, reflect, and reset your leadership practices. Through guided reflection, peer connection, and practical strategies, you’ll learn how to release draining patterns, lead meetings that support adult wellbeing, and create a school culture rooted in trust, balance, and belonging. This isn’t just about self-care, it’s about leading in a way that sustains you and those you serve.

This is not just about self-care. It’s about releasing the habits that drain you and embracing a leadership style that sustains both you and those you lead, creating the conditions for everyone in your community to flourish.

Registration price is $475 for ACAMIS members and $575 for non-ACAMIS members.

Workshop Outcomes

By the end of this two-day experience, you will:

  • Have clarity on how to center wellbeing in your leadership and interactions, without burnout or overwhelm.
  • Understand the social and emotional needs that underpin wellbeing for yourself and the adults you lead.
  • Be equipped with practical strategies to design meetings that foster connection, trust, and psychological safety.
  • Feel renewed and empowered to lead wellbeing initiatives that model what truly matters, creating healthier, more connected school communities.
